WCI Lifestyle: Spotlight on Naples

Our fantastic locations are a big part of why our communities are such a hit with our Residents and Members. With communities in Perdido Key, Tampa, Bradenton, Venice, Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, Naples and Coral Springs, there is plenty to talk about. As such, we thought it would be helpful to our readers to learn about all the exciting things going on in each of these locations. This month's spotlight location is the Naples/Bonita Springs area, home to The Colony Golf & Country Club, Raptor Bay, Tiburón and Manchester Square!

Rated 2nd in Coastal Living Magazine's "America's Happiest Seaside Towns," the Naples area has plenty to boast about. Known for its rich cultural scene, it offers a host of art galleries, quaint antique shops and spectacular museums like the Naples Museum of Art. Downtown Naples brilliantly showcases its historic roots while providing a great variety of fine dining and shopping opportunities throughout and don't miss Tin City when you're in town.

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention the sugar-sand beaches that stretch the Florida coastline and some of the best fishing and golf in the state! With a nickname like Paradise Coast, those living in Naples and Bonita Springs ensure their area is at peace with nature. You'll find amazing parks like Bonita Springs' Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park, the Big Cypress Nature Preserve in Naples and estuaries that stretch from Marco Island to the Ten Thousand Islands.

For those planning a trip to Naples, be sure to mark your calendar for some of their major events. Fall heats up with the Stone Crab Festival, Naples International Film Festival and Hats in the Garden and moves right into the winter months with the renowned Naples Wine Festival and the Everglades Seafood Festival. Don't forget to check out your favorite WCI community's Facebook page to see all the great events we have going on too!
