If you hadn't noticed, the summer months are a great time to get involved in golf. Organizations like PGA’s Play Golf America have put together dedicated months throughout the summer to help bring out the golfer in everyone. May kicked off "Welcome to Golf Month" with select WCI courses offering complimentary lessons with the Golf Professionals, while June launched a summer-long "Kids Play Free" promotion and "Women's Golf Month."
Each of our WCI Golf Clubs has fantastic events lined up throughout the entire summer to celebrate golf. This month, Play Golf America is promoting "Family Golf Month" and "Take Your Daughters to the Course Week" from July 9-15. What better way to spend quality time with your family than outdoors on a beautiful Florida day? WCI Communities is proud to be a part of this program and has rolled out these great deals at our WCI golf communities.
• The Colony Golf & Country Club On July 6 and 20, The Colony will be hosting 5-hole Parent and Child Golf Tournaments. These two-person scrambles are for one adult and one child and start with a golf clinic on the Practice Area and conclude with a pizza party and awards ceremony in The Grille Room. Spaces will fill up quickly, so register today by calling (239) 390-4710! On July 22, The Colony will be hosting a 5-hole Parent and Daughter Golf Tournament. These two-person scrambles will be the same format as the "Family Golf Month" tournaments. Spaces for this tournament will also fill up quickly, so register today!
• Pelican Preserve Golf Club During the month of July, head out to Pelican Preserve Golf Club with your kids to play at a special rate! Adults play for $35 and your child plays free! Contact the Golf Shop at (239) 985-1707 to reserve your tee time. Make sure to mention "Family Golf Month" when booking.
• Raptor Bay Golf Club It's Family Fun at Raptor Bay this month! After 4:00pm, adults can play five holes of golf for $20 and kids play free. Complimentary rental clubs are available for all players. Contact Raptor Bay for more details at (239) 390-4610. Bring your daughters to the course any time between July 9-15 and receive a $10 voucher for lunch after golf.
• Tiburón Golf Club Complimentary 45-minute Family Golf Clinics will be available on select dates at Tiburón Golf Club this month. For more information, please call (239) 593-2201.
• Venetian Golf & River Club In the month of July, all juniors under the age of 18 that play with a paying adult will receive a complimentary sleeve of golf balls. During the week of July 9-15, bring your daughter (ages 18 and under) to Venetian Golf Club to play free with one paying adult.
