One of the many things WCI Communities is known for are our amazing amenities in our communities. Offering everything from golf and tennis to marinas and bustling clubhouses, there is a lot to talk about. This month we'll be featuring our newest amenity, The Lodge, at Bradenton's Tidewater Preserve!

This spacious 5,012-square-foot facility recently opened to grand reviews. Ideally situated in the heart of the community, The Lodge overlooks the Manatee River and has become the meeting place for Residents and Guests. The Club features a community room, lounge, catering kitchen and fitness center with men’s and women’s locker rooms. Outdoor amenities include a zero-entry resort-style pool and playground. Residents can also enjoy multiple al fresco gathering areas like a large covered veranda, trellised patio by the pool and a sandy beach overlooking the Manatee River.

The gracious interiors were designed by Maryland-based interior design group, Builders Design. They created a palette of color and materials that capture the feeling of a lodge. The community room and lounge is separated by a free-standing two- sided stone fireplace and features both wood and carpeted flooring and fieldstone accents. The lounge houses a pool table and large-screen TV, while the community room features fireside seating areas and windows in both rooms that overlook the pool and river.

Planning is underway for fitness classes including aquatic and land modalities, with a “Fitness Sampler’ planned for July 11 with demonstrations by qualified instructors.
